My seat number, K44 (number 4 again!!) , was believed that it is not situated near the window as according to my sister. Suprisingly, when I'm on the plane, HAHAHA, it is situated beside the window!OMG! Lucky me! The guy sat infront of me and also another guy sat behind me are hot guys, I was hoping the person who are going to sit next to me for this 4 hours and 40 minutes flight to be a hot guy, BUT BUT BUT , errghh, forget about that guy who sat beside me during the flight. Total DISSAPOINTMENT ==
After an excitement view that I viewed from the window, I felt asleep. After around 4 hours plus, I've reached TaoYuan Airport a.k.a TaiPei Airport. The weather out there is a bit gloomy. But the view at TaiPei is very nice. When I get down from the plane, immediately went and check my passport. After that, walked all the way to get my luggage. When I reached the place where you collect your luggage, I thought I was too fast cause there is no one there. After I stood around 5 minutes, only I realise that I'm waiting at the wrong place LOL. My luggage is at another side LOL. So embarrasing >< I waited for around 5 or 6 rounds to finally get to see my old luggage. Thank God because at that time I thought my luggage was gone as I've waited there for more than 20 minutes but my luggage has not show up. At the very last minute I saw the blue luggage. SO HAPPY.
Next,I walk myself to the exit and I was looking for people from Hwa Yen Development Centre and Chia Tung University to come pick me up. I walk towards the left exit and I see no one. :( It freaks me out where I didn't see anyone come pick me up. But, I keep myself calm, and I went to get my SIM card in Taiwan. Listen to En Wan's advice, I bought Yuan Chuan number for NTD 350. erm, consider cheap I think. My number in Taiwan is quite nice. HAHA. :) The salesgirl is very nice too. She even asked me do I need to take a bus or cab or train when she sense that I'm lost. I told her that it's okay cause they will be someone to come pick me up but I didn't see them yet. So nice of her. Thanks ;D
Then, I went to the information counter and grab some brochures about Taiwan and also the map. Nice. It is available in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean and English languages. Now only I realised that there is another exit on my right hand side. I immediately take my luggage and walk very quickly towards there and YES! I saw Liu Lao Shi together with a male worker and also a guy from CTLC. Phew, I felt relieved after I saw them with the WELCOME CARD!:) We took pictures in the airport as a memory and I know the other two male's name which is Ah Jiu from CTLC and also Jian Ping from Hwa Yen. And so, I followed Liu Lao Shi and Jian Wei to the carpark and follow them back to Miaoli, where Hwa Yen Development Centre is located. :)
Jian Wei drove Liu Lao Shi's HyunDai car all the way on highway and I get to see a lot of building beside the highway. Culture shock 1 : All vehicles on the road have the number plate in Mandarin ! Culture shock 2 : more classy cars on the road as compare to Kuala Lumpur highway ;D
It took around 40 minutes to get to HsinChu if I'm not mistaken. Then another 40 minutes to reach MiaoLi. The petrol station here is speacial too. Unlike the one in Malaysia. But I didn't capture a photo on that so maybe next time only can show it :)When we about to reach Hwa Yen, Liu Lao Shi brought me to a supermarket to buy some stuffs like meal utensils and she paid on behalf of Hwa Yen. How nice is that??:) And she even bought me pearl bubble tea. Tasted awesome and totally different from Malaysia and it's a very bigggggggggg cup! Worthy!
Finally, after several uphills, we've reached Hwa Yen around 5.30pm where it is the dinner time for the students! I was brought to meet Chiu Zhu Ren before I sat together with the students and get my meal. The 1st student that I know was Hui Zhang - Xian Zheng. A very cute guy. I get to know around 4 guys that sat on the same table with me, that is Xian Zheng, Min Te, Cai Xing and Guo Liang. All of them are quite shy when they see me, and some of the guys say I look very cute!!!!Cai Xing heard of Malaysia before and he tried very hard to spell it in English, how lovely is that?:D
Dinner time ends and some students can help to clean up the place and also wash up the dishes. After that they will brush their teeth. Apparently they will brush their teeth after they had every meal.
Then, I was brought to my room. A very big dorm actually! And I have everything there. So nice, I think it's even nicer than my own room back to Malaysia. More photos are available at my facebook account.https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.1778907996887.2095250.1365015413
On the very 1st day, of course I am more close to the girls because I live with them. I get to know all 14 girls name though I still mixed up some of their name or maybe take me very long time to recall their name cause is all chinese name. I even join them for their buddha class after each meal. And the one I get to join in during night class. 9pm is their sleeping time and I sleeps well because of tiredness.
So far this is for all, I will upload pictures of them on the next time I blog.
